My friend Kevin and I have been collecting Red wine from Shaw Vineyards on Seneca Lake since they opened. We feel that Steve Shaw's wines are exceptional and are great examples of what can be done with Red wine, even in a cold climate like the Finger Lakes. So every now and then, Kevin and I dust off our bottles of Shaw and do a vertical tasting to see how they are holding up. Last weekend, we tasted Shaw Cabernet Sauvignon vintages from 2007, 2008, 2010, and 2011.
